So, I was digging through my phone the other day and made a surprising discovery—a whole batch of door photos I didn’t even know existed! Turns out they were saved to the phone’s internal memory instead of the SD card.
Should I be happy about unearthing more shots of beautiful doors… or cry a little because my photo backlog just got bigger?
That said, this one was absolutely worth rediscovering:
A grand 42-inch wide, 8-foot tall, traditional-style fiberglass door—and what a beauty!
What’s interesting is how common this size has become today, but just 5 or 6 years ago, good luck finding one. Back then, 42” doors were still a new addition in the fiberglass market, with only a handful of manufacturers offering them. Fiberglass has always played catch-up to wood in terms of variety and style, but I’ve got to say—it’s made some serious strides.
From timeless traditional styles like this one to the sleek, modern engraved designs I shared in my last post, fiberglass has come a long way. And I’m all for it. 👏👏👏
